End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible machinery and is common in the material handling business. These machinery have superior performance characteristics that are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation settings that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an ideal choice for applications which need regular on and off access, as their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading equipment utilized by various companies who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need yet in an efficient and safe way.
The basic reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines which move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also have a hydraulic setup that enables the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just offers much more balance to the whole load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
After the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
